the question about sprint to lose weight.?

I been doing the workout below for a week now and i want to do more, im trying to lose about 40 lbs in 2 months..

8 8sec sprints followed by 30 sec rest

3×30 crunches

3×15 pushups

this happens in the morning, then shower and get on with day

Could I do it all over again say 4-5pm?

would that be overtraining and not getting to my goal faster or would it work?

Exercise isn't the best way to lose weight. Cutting your food intake is. Exercise is going to change your shape, not your weight. You need to burn 3500 calories to lose one pound.

Don't believe me? Go to a website that tells you how many calories are burned in each exercise. Then go see how many calories are in a muffin or slice of pizza.

What you're doing is only going to burn about 100-200 calories a day. A muffin has around 450 calories.
